Johannes Brandl
Praxisinhaber und Physiotherapeut

My professional journey began with training as a masseur and medical bath therapist at the private vocational school Dr Lenhart in Munich. I subsequently completed further training to qualify as a physiotherapist.
I passed my state examination in 2007 at the Döpfer School in Schwandorf. After this, I returned to my home city of Munich, where I worked as a self-employed practitioner in a practice specialising in orthopaedics.
My strong desire to continuously expand my knowledge has led me to complete numerous advanced training courses. My main areas of expertise include orthopaedics and trauma surgery, as well as functional training therapy. Working as a self-employed practitioner in various practices throughout Munich allowed me to further develop and apply my specialist knowledge.
In 2020, I fulfilled a long-standing ambition by founding my own private practice in Pullach im Isartal. In November 2023, I relocated my practice to Munich-Solln, moving into spacious, bright and fully barrier-free premises
I now look forward to welcoming you there. As a physiotherapist and licensed alternative practitioner, your health is particularly important to me. For this reason, I offer holistic and individualised treatment tailored to your needs.
Empathy and trust are at the heart of my work, ensuring that you feel comfortable, quickly develop a better awareness of your body, and strengthen your health in a sustainable way.
Your health is close to my heart.
My qualifications:
-
- State-certified physiotherapist
- Manual therapist
- Sports physiotherapist
- Licensed alternative practitioner

Alexandra Brandl
Practice owner and physiotherapist

Sport has been an important pillar in my life from an early age. As a competitive athlete, I have always been fascinated by the human body, a fascination that naturally led me to pursue a career as a physiotherapist.
In 2002, I began my training at the Bernd Blindow School in Friedrichshafen, which I completed in 2005 with the state examination.
After my time at Lake Constance, I moved to Munich, where I worked for three years in trauma surgery and surgical intensive care at Munich Clinic Schwabing and Bogenhausen. During this period, I gained my first experience in the rehabilitation of polytrauma patients and those with severe traumatic brain injuries.
I found neurorehabilitation particularly compelling, which led me to transfer within Munich Clinic Bogenhausen to the neurological and interdisciplinary early rehabilitation department (2008–2019). In this field, I continued to specialise and completed numerous advanced training courses.
Following the birth of my daughter in 2017, I began to focus on pelvic floor rehabilitation. I have since completed a wide range of specialised training courses, including Tanzberger Concept Therapy. Through precise assessment and diagnosis, targeted treatment with measurable success is possible. I treat women and men with urge, stress and mixed incontinence. In addition, I support women with complaints during pregnancy and after childbirth. Further key areas of my work include pelvic organ prolapse and rectus diastasis. I also treat men with benign prostatic hyperplasia, following simple or radical prostatectomy, and the resulting functional impairments, always with empathy and respect.
Due to our move to the south of Munich, I transferred in 2019 to the neurological early rehabilitation and private outpatient department at Munich Clinic Harlaching. Since 2021, I have expanded the range of services offered by our practice to include neurorehabilitation and pelvic floor therapy.
My aim is to support you with honesty and mindfulness, helping you to regain trust in your body or to rediscover it. I encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone — without overwhelming you.
My many years of professional experience and specialisations enable me to select the most effective combination of therapeutic approaches for your individual needs. As your therapist, I take the time to focus on your treatment and concerns — holistic, personal and effective.

Alexandra Hägler
Physiotherapeutin und Heilpraktikerin

My vocation is to help people. My professional journey began as a medical assistant in an internal medicine practice, where I later gained valuable experience across various medical specialties. The connection between medicine and movement fascinated me so deeply that I decided to train as a physiotherapist.
Driven by this passion, I developed my own yoga method, PhysioFlowYoga — a combination of physiotherapy-based knowledge and flowing movement sequences. I have passed this concept on to future PFY teachers through my own training programme and have also written a book to make this knowledge accessible to future generations.
Through my work as an educator, I discovered how much I enjoy sharing knowledge. In order to support my patients in an even more comprehensive way, I also qualified as a licensed alternative practitioner.
Thanks to my wide-ranging experience in medicine, movement and sport, it is particularly important to me to help my patients develop a deeper understanding of their bodies — with the aim of making anatomy tangible and promoting lasting body awareness.
Heike Wolff
Practice manager

As the practice manager, it is particularly important to me that you feel well cared for and that the day-to-day running of the practice is efficient and pleasant for you.
With my organisational skills and strong motivation, I strive to ensure that treatment processes run smoothly and that the team is able to provide you with the best possible care.
I am committed to creating an atmosphere in which everyone feels comfortable — both patients and staff. With experience, empathy and an open ear for your concerns, I am always happy to support you.
Through my many years of work in the interdisciplinary pain clinic at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Großhadern, where I held the positions of team assistant and senior consultant’s secretary, I gained extensive expertise in working with patients experiencing chronic pain. Patient intake and the associated direct contact enabled me to develop a deep understanding of the biopsychosocial model of pain.
Following the birth of my second child, I decided to take time out as a mother and family manager and therefore left my position at the pain clinic. I am now very much looking forward to a new professional challenge as practice manager at Physiotherapy Brandl.
