Alexandra Hägler

Physiotherapist and Alternative Practitioner

My calling is to help people. My journey began as a medical assistant in an internal medicine practice, and I later gained valuable experience across various medical specialties. The connection between medicine and movement fascinated me so much that I trained to become a physiotherapist.

Driven by this passion, I developed my own yoga method, PhysioFlowYoga — a combination of physiotherapy-based knowledge and flowing movement sequences. I have passed this concept on to future PFY teachers through my own training programme and have also written a book to make this knowledge accessible to future generations.

Through my work as an educator, I discovered how much I enjoy sharing knowledge. In order to support my patients in an even more comprehensive way, I also qualified as a licensed alternative practitioner.

Thanks to my wide-ranging experience in medicine, movement and sport, it is particularly important to me to help my patients develop a deeper understanding of their bodies — with the aim of making anatomy tangible and promoting lasting body awareness.

My qualifications:

    •  State-certified physiotherapist
    • Manual therapist
    • Alternative practitioner
    • Yoga teacher
